requests.
Foreign Movies
is 16 Mocking Birds songs put together with
an interesting array of styles and formats. While staying true to their
Roots Rock hearts, The Mocking Birds put every
reason
why they choose their moniker on display in this
60 minutes of Rock-n-Rollin' good time.
Rocket Rides,
a 5 song EP from '96 also lives up to its billing as James
Velvet (Vocal, Guitar), Johnny Java
(Bass), Dick Neal (Guitars, Vocals),
and Scott McDonald (Drums) pull out all the stops
and let rip with a set that calls
out "RAVE ON!"
It took some time to secure both
these CDs
(you know; get out the flashlight, head down the basement, try to
remember the combination
to the vault, etc...), but The Mocking Birds,
James Velvet, and IndepenDisc
